Discover the story of Hoorn

Discover the story of Hoorn

In collaboration with Studio Louter and artist Todd Van Hulzen we transformed the Aldermen’s Hall in Hoorn into the multimedia show ‘Discover the story of Hoorn’; it’s an inspiring starting point to discover the city, initiated by the Westfries Museum.

To communicate the history of Hoorn, we used projection mapping, 2d & 3d animation. In this decorative room, several beamers project the story onto the walls, paintings and sculptural models of the city.

Afterwards, visitors can discover the eventful history of Hoorn and take in the wealth of monumental architecture with the accompanying walking guide. After all, history is everywhere on the streets of Hoorn. This special activity can be enjoyed in the upcoming years while the Westfries museum is under renovation.
